Access to TRACE will soon be in the Export Service

TRACE will soon move to the Export Service. You will need to create an Export Service account.

Soon you'll need to access TRACE in the Export Service.

What's changing?

How you access TRACE and the way it looks will change. How you complete tasks in TRACE will stay the same.

What you need to do now

You'll soon need to connect your TRACE account to the Export Service. You can set up an Export Service account now. After TRACE moves to the Export Service, you'll no longer be able to access it your current way.

We recommend setting up an Export Service account for your business now.

This way you'll be prepared and won't have any disruptions to your business.

Onboarding to the Export Service

Follow the step-by-step guide: Onboarding to the Export Service

How you set up and access an Export Service account will depend on your role in the business.

The owner or principal authority will need to use Relationship Authorisation Manager, opens in a new tab (RAM) to set up an account for the business. Employees can then be invited to the account without needing to use RAM.

I'm a principal authority or authorisation administrator in RAM

Follow the steps to set up an account for the business:

  1. Create an Export Service account using Digital ID.
  2. Add your business.
  3. Invite staff to act for your business.
  4. Add email sign-in so you can access your account without Digital ID.

I'm an employee and not listed in RAM

Follow the steps to be added to the business account:

  1. Sign in to the Export Service with myID.
  2. Accept an invite to act for the business.
  3. Add email sign-in so you can access your account without Digital ID.

What you need to do later

Once you've set up an account, you'll be ready to connect your TRACE account when it moves to the Export Service.
