Add a business to the Export Service

Find out how to add a business to an Export Service account.

You need to add a business so you can:

  • perform export operations, and
  • manage who can act for your business.

Once you have added a business you can:

  • register an establishment for your business
  • manage a registered establishment’s commodities, operations and functions
  • add or remove people from management or control.

You can add more than one business to an Export Service, opens in a new tab account.

Relationship Authorisation Manager

We use Relationship Authorisation Manager, opens in a new tab (RAM) to add businesses to the Export Service. To add a business to your Export Service account, you need to first link the business to your myID in RAM. Only a principal authority, opens in a new tab or authorisation administrator, opens in a new tab can do this.

Adding a business to an Export Service account

Once you have linked the business in RAM, you can then add it to your Export Service account:

  1. Sign in to the Export Service.
  2. From the ‘My account’ page, select 'Add a business with RAM'.
  3. Select 'Continue with Digital ID'.
  4. Follow the steps.
  5. From the RAM screen, select the business you want to add.
  6. Select 'Confirm' to add the business.

The business will appear on the ’My account’ page in the 'Businesses' section. To add another business, repeat these steps.

Invite someone to act for a business

Only a user with a ‘Principal authority (Owner)’ or ‘Manager’ role can invite others to use the Export Service. For more information, go to Invite someone to act for a business.

Remove a business from your Export Service account
