Connect TRACE to the Export Service

If you already use TRACE, you need to connect it to the Export Service.

Why do I need to do this?

TRACE access is through the Export Service. You need to connect TRACE to your Export Service account so you can submit and manage Notice of Intention (NOIs).

When you're set up, how you connect TRACE to the Export Service depends on whether you already use TRACE.

Existing TRACE user

Follow the steps to connect to TRACE:

  1. Sign in to your Export Service account.
  2. Go to 'Businesses' and select the business.
  3. Select 'Export systems'
  4. Select 'Access TRACE'.
  5. Enter the email address you use for TRACE.
  6. Enter the verification code from the email we send you.

Once you've set up the account, you can manage others' access to TRACE. For more information, go to Add, edit or remove a person in TRACE.

New TRACE user

If you don't already use TRACE, ask an authorised user from the business to add you in TRACE. You can then connect to the Export Service.
