What is NEXDOC?
Find out about the Next Export Documentation System (NEXDOC).
NEXDOC is one of our online export systems. You can use it to submit and manage Requests for Export (REXs) for consignments.
NEXDOC is replacing the Export Documentation System (EXDOC). It generates export permits and certificates for regulated agricultural goods.
What you can do in NEXDOC
You can use NEXDOC to request export permits and certificates online. After you submit your request, we verify that your consignment meets Australian and importing country requirements.
If we approve your request, we’ll issue a certificate where required. You’ll need to send the certificate with your consignment.
You can also:
- use third party software to manage your applications
- track the status of your certificate.
Who uses NEXDOC?
Depending on your role, you may need to use NEXDOC if you:
- export regulated agricultural goods
- are an export agent or customs broker
- work for an industry body that manages group exports.
How to access NEXDOC in the Export Service
For some commodities, you can access NEXDOC through the Export Service, opens in a new tab. To do this, you need to get set up in the Export Service if you haven’t already.
