Register as a client group administrator
Become an administrator for teams that use NEXDOC with third party software.
What is a client group administrator?
A client group is a business team that uses third party software to access NEXDOC.
The client group administrator can add people who need to use the software and remove people when they no longer need to use it. They can also manage other functions.
Who needs to register
You need to register as a client group administrator if you:
- manage an export business team that uses third party software to access NEXDOC
- act for an export business and manage its third party software access – you may need to do this if you’re an export agent or freight forwarder, for example.
To become a client group administrator, you must have an Export Service account linked to NEXDOC. For more information, go to Connect NEXDOC to the Export Service, opens in a new tab.
Note: The person who first registers the client group will automatically be the client group administrator.
What you’ll need
You will need to provide the following details:
- business name
- client group reference – this is for your records and can be in any format
- physical address
- the export commodities the client group will deal with
- a contact person – this can be you or someone else.
Optional details you can provide:
- contact phone number
- electronic data interface (EDI) number, if known.
How to register
Follow the steps to become a client group administrator:
- Sign in, opens in a new tab to your Export Service account.
- Go to ‘Businesses’ and select the business.
- Select ‘Export systems’.
- Select ‘Access NEXDOC’.
- Select ‘Add a NEXDOC service’.
- Select ‘Apply to be a client group administrator’.
- Follow the steps and select ‘Submit’.
- Wait for us to review your application.
What you can do in NEXDOC
Client group administrators can use NEXDOC to:
- add or remove client group members (for example, other members of your team)
- create other client groups (for example, for other teams in your business)
- create other client group administrators
- update the contact person’s details
- manage printing
- add or remove export commodities from a client group.
