Why do I see the wrong business?

How to fix this depends on your Export Service role in the business.

The information you can see depends on your assigned role in the Export Service. If you are a ‘User’ or ‘Agent’ make sure you have been invited to the business by a ‘Principal authority (Owner)’ or ‘Manager’.

Here are the reasons you may not see the right business in your account and what to do about it.

You were invited to act for the wrong business

You may have been invited to and accepted an invite to the wrong business by someone assigned a role of:

  • 'Principal authority (Owner)', or
  • 'Manager'.

If this happens, ask the sender to invite you to the right business. For more information, go to Invite someone to act for a business.

You have selected the wrong business

If you can't see the right business, you may have selected the wrong one when adding a business to the Export Service. You can add a business to the Export Service if you are a principal authority or authorisation administrator in Relationship Authorisation Manager, opens in a new tab (RAM).

Follow the steps to add a business:

  1. Sign in to the Export Service.
  2. From the ‘My account’ page, select 'Add another business'.
  3. Select 'Continue with Digital ID' and follow the steps.
  4. Under 'Entity name' on the RAM page, find the new business and select ‘Continue’.
  5. Follow the steps and select 'Confirm'.
