Missing or expired invites

Find out why an invite to act for a business may be missing or expired.

People with a 'Principal Authority (Owner)' or 'Manager' role in the Export Service, opens in a new tab can invite others. When someone accepts an invite, they can act for the business. For more information, go to Invite someone to act for a business.

Missing invites

If you are sending or expecting an email invite, it may not arrive for several reasons.

These include:

  • it was sent to the wrong person
  • it was blocked by a network or firewall
  • it arrived, but it went to your spam or junk folder in your email inbox.

Expired invites

Invites are valid for 7 days. If you need a new invite, ask a 'Principal Authority (Owner)’ or ‘Manager’ to resend it. For more information, go to Accept an invite to act for a business.
