A 'Principal Authority (Owner)' or ‘Manager’ can add or remove people who can act for a business in the Export Service.

Invite someone to act for a business

A 'Principal Authority (Owner)' or ‘Manager’ can invite someone to act for a business in the Export Service.

Follow the steps to invite someone:

  1. Sign in to your Export Service account.
  2. Select the business.
  3. Select ‘Access overview’.
  4. Select ‘Invite a person’.
  5. Follow the steps to enter their details and assign them a role.

The person will receive an email inviting them to the business. The invitation is valid for 7 days.

Resend or cancel an invite

Follow the steps to resend or cancel someone's invite:

  1. Sign in to your Export Service account.
  2. Select the business.
  3. Select ‘Access overview’.
  4. Go to the ‘Invited’ tab.
  5. Find the person’s name. In the ‘Action’ column, select 'Resend' or 'Cancel'.
  6. Follow the steps to confirm the change.

Remove someone's access

Follow the steps to remove someone's access:

  1. Sign in to your Export Service account.
  2. Select the business.
  3. Select ‘Access overview’.
  4. Go to the ‘Access’ tab.
  5. Select the person’s name.
  6. Go to 'Remove access' and select 'Remove [name]'
  7. Follow the steps to confirm.

Once you have removed someone from a business, you can restore their access if you need to by inviting them again.

Roles and access levels

The Export Service has 4 roles with varying permission and access levels. What you can do for a business in your account depends on your assigned role and access level. For more information, go to Roles and access levels in the Export Service.
