Manage email sign-in security settings
Follow the steps to change your sign-in email address, password or mobile number.
You can chance your email sign-in settings at any time. You must use email sign-in to change your details.
You will need to verify your identity to make changes to your account. If you no longer have access to SMS or email verification, contact us for help.
Your updated details will appear in 'Profile and settings'.
Change your sign-in email address
You can change your email at any time. Do not use a shared email address.
Follow the steps to change your sign-in email address:
- Go to 'Profile and settings', then 'Sign-in security'.
- Next to your email address, select 'Change'.
- Select 'Mobile' or 'Email' to choose how you want to verify your identity. If you select 'Mobile' you can choose to receive an SMS or phone call.
- Enter the code you receive and select 'Continue'. If you selected 'Call' enter the '#' key after the prompts.
- Enter your new email and select 'Continue'.
- Enter the code sent to your new email and select 'Continue' to confirm.
Change your email sign-in password
Follow the steps to change your email sign-in password:
- Go to 'Profile and settings', then 'Sign-in security'.
- Next to 'Password', select 'Change'.
- Select 'Mobile' or 'Email' to choose how you want to verify your identity. If you select 'Mobile' you can choose to receive an SMS or phone call.
- Enter the code you receive and select 'Continue'. If you selected 'Call' enter the '#' key after the prompts.
- Enter your current password then your new password in the 'Change your password' screen.
- Select 'Continue' to confirm.
Change your mobile number
Follow the steps to change the mobile number you use for email sign-in:
- Go to 'Profile and settings', then 'Sign-in security'.
- Next to 'Mobile number for multi-factor authentication', select 'Change'.
- Select 'Mobile' or 'Email' to choose how you want to verify your identity. If you select 'Mobile' you can choose to receive an SMS or phone call.
- Enter the code you receive and select 'Continue'. If you selected 'Call' enter the '#' key after the prompts.
- Enter your country code and new mobile number.
- Select 'SMS' or 'Call' to choose how you want to verify your identity.
- Enter the code you receive and select 'Continue'. If you selected 'Call' enter the '#' key after the prompts.
- Select 'Continue' to confirm.
