Revoke a registration

How to apply if you no longer want an establishment to be export registered.

  • Establishment
  • Application
  • Account

If you no longer want to export prescribed goods from your registered establishment, you will need to revoke its registration and approved arrangement (if it has one).

Use this application if you will:

  • stop exporting prescribed goods from a registered establishment, or
  • close a registered establishment completely.

You will need to provide your reasons for revoking the registration and the date to revoke it.

To revoke an establishment’s registration:

  1. Sign in to your Export Service account.
  2. Under 'Your linked businesses', select the business name.
  3. In the side menu, select ‘Establishments’.
  4. Under ‘Your establishments’, select the establishment name.
  5. Select the 'Export operations' tab.
  6. Under ‘Revoke your establishment’, select ‘Revoke the establishment’.
  7. Follow the prompts to complete and submit the application.

You will need to provide your contact details or someone else’s for your application. This person must be listed in the registered establishment’s management or control.

Change an establishment’s owner

Don’t submit this application if someone else plans to register this establishment after you revoke it. For example, if you sell the establishment in the same location to a new business or owner.

To do that, you need to apply to Revoke a registration and add a new occupier.

Change an establishment’s location

When a registered establishment moves to a new location, you will need to revoke the registration and register a new establishment.

You can’t transfer an establishment’s registration to a new physical location. That’s even if the business otherwise stays the same.
