We audit export operations carried out in registered establishments. We do this to make sure they meet export legal requirements.

For more information, go to Exporting from Australia, opens in a new tab and Approved auditors and registered establishments, opens in a new tab.

If your establishment’s export operations don’t meet the relevant standards, an auditor will issue a non-compliance notice. The non-compliance notice can relate to one or more requirements.

We’ll email the non-compliance notice to you. You can also access non-compliance notices in your Export Service account. For more information, go to View and download non-compliance notices.

We’ll also email you the audit report that the non-compliance notice relates to. The audit report will list any non-compliance notice(s) issued during an audit.

You can access audit reports in an Export Service account. For more information, go to View and download audit reports.
