Manage contact preferences

Update an email address or notification preferences in your account.

When you create an account to use the Export Service, we’ll ask how you want us to contact you. We’ll use your preferred email address to let you know you have messages in your account.

Your email is automatically set to the same one you use for myID or email sign-in. This may be a personal or business email and you can change it at any time.

We recommend not using a shared email address as your preferred email address.

When you sign up, your preference is automatically set to receive notifications from us. You can change this at any time.

You can choose to be notified for:

  • all messages
  • only messages marked as important
  • no messages.

Follow the steps to change your email address or notification preference:

  1. Sign in to your Export Service account.
  2. On the ‘My account’ page, select ‘Profile and settings’.
  3. Go to ‘Contact preferences’ and select ‘Change contact preference’.
  4. Enter your preferred email address.
  5. Select ‘Continue’ to save.
