Accept an invite to act on behalf of a business

Accept an invite to use the Export Service if you are an employee or third party.

Employees and third parties need to be invited to join a business in the Export Service. You can then use the Export Service to act on behalf of that business.

Someone assigned the ‘Principal authority (Owner)’ or ‘Manager’ role in the Export Service needs to invite you. They need to Link a business in the Export Service first.

They can then invite you via email from their Export Service account. You have 7 days to accept the invite to the business.

When they invite you, they will also assign you a role in the Export Service. For more information, go to Invite someone to act on behalf of a business.

Accept an invite

To accept an invite to act on behalf of a business:

  1. Go to your email inbox.
  2. Open the email with the subject line, ‘You are invited to a business in the Export Service’.
  3. If you have a myID, select ‘Continue with Digital ID’. If not, select, ‘Set up myID’.
  4. Select ‘Continue with Digital ID’.
  5. Select 'myID' log in and consent.
  6. Review your invite and Export Service account details. This includes your assigned role and permissions.
  7. If the details are correct, select ‘Accept’ and create your account.
  8. On the ‘My account’ page, confirm your contact preference.
  9. The business will now appear under ‘Linked businesses’. on your dashboard.
